The Cormoran is an independent think tank comprising academics, researchers and professionals from around the world, specializing in a wide range of scientific, humanistic and economic disciplines. Operating in an intellectual space defined as “outside the bubble”, characterized by authority and rigor, The Cormoran collaborates with its network to produce research, articles, interviews, opinion polls and infographics designed to make sense of complex issues beyond the background noise. Through clear, accessible analysis, it explores topics such as food, health, politics, economy, environment, culture, sports, cinema, literature and music, placing human beings back at the center of the debate.
The project’s founding ambition is to foster free and radically clear-eyed intellectual discourse, liberated from the restrictive, paralyzing logic of today’s ideological trenches.
Its primary goal is to bring to light a factual truth that seeks no easy consensus but asserts its right to exist on the strength of its own solidity. Its analytical work delves into data, connects seemingly distant causes and effects, and focuses on any visible “crack in the wall of a well-constructed lie”.
His promise is to present the reality of the facts, often inconvenient for the powers that be, and never to offer easy consolations.
